Meet Your Guide

Hey, I’m Ryan Lybarger. I’ve been skating for over 20 years, and for the past decade, I’ve been deep in the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine, internal martial arts, massage, meditation, and herbal medicine.

I’ve studied psychology, completed over 4,000 hours of training in acupuncture, massage and herbalism, and earned my Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine with a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine. I’ve trained in Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, and Taijiquan, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching nei gong / qi gong practices related to these arts with a focus on healing, not just fighting.

I started Skoaching because I saw a need—a way to translate ancient, time-tested practices into something skaters and movement artists can actually use. No fluff. No dogma. Just real tools for real people living real lives.
